Md Jobayer

I am a research assistant at BRAC University under the supervision of Prof. Arshad M. Chowdhury, Prof. Golam Rabiul Alam and Md. Mehedi Hasan Shawon. My current research focuses on diffusion-based image super-resolution and generating synthetic data. Additionally, I am part of the team at BIOSE, where we are working on various hardware—and software-based biomedical engineering projects. I completed my Electrical and Electronic Engineering undergraduate studies from BRAC University.

Research

In broader terms, my research interests primarily lie at the intersection of computation and human perception. I am particularly focused on developing algorithms that can infer meaningful insights from observed data, especially in the context of human-centric information. My previous work includes spatio-temporal feature extraction, model compression, autoencoders, early prediction, medical imaging, and bioinformatics.

Miscellaneous

I'm typically not very social and quite shy. In my spare time, I like to watch TV series, historical documentaries, and travel vlogs. I love spicy foods and have craved fancy cars and classic watches. I prefer living downtown. Admittedly, I'm a bit lazy when it comes to changing my outfits, so I often end up wearing the same clothes for days.
